Very rarely i share the process behind the brand identity, or not the finished logos, and this is one of them. I had the beautiful chance to work with this gorgeous new and upcoming jewellery brand, that creates some very unique and avant-garde pieces. The direction was very clear from the very beginning. Dark, mysterious, goddess mood, sacred geometry and a queen bee.
While there were some alterations in the finished logos, like slimming down the bee and reducing the hair and a a completely different logo, i wanted to show some love to these two elements before they go down the rejected pile.
The primary logo font is one of my absolutely favourite ones. It is custom made by me, and i wanted to show that avant-garde vibe, with the spiky ends that remind the bee’s sting. I wanted it to be different and unique, and really stand out on its own. The bee is also illustrated by me and i enjoyed bringing on all the detail so that it would remind a realistic vintage illustration.
You know me, black and gold totally owns my heart so this project was really a blast to work on!
