When i first got in touch with Hajni, i was so inspired by all the colors and textures she used in her creations. Our aesthetics matched straight away and we were both on the same side for the direction. Something that would be clean, would feel eclectic, interesting and luxurious, handmade and would compliment her products.
My first idea, was to you use a light beige shade for all the backgrounds to break the cleanliness of the packaging, but bring a bit of handmade mood and let the textures and patterns stand out. We wanted to keep the handwritten element in the primary logo, but refine it. This must be my favourite lettering logo i’ve done until this day! The big loop on the M, stands for the swirls in Mianra’s soaps, as well as compliment the marbleised M icon and pattern.
What i most love about this project, was how well thought and connected everything in the brand is. Hajni and i made the best team! Nothing in this brand hasn’t been designed without a good reason and planning behind it.
