Creating a brand identity can be all kinds of awesome. But what’s the most awesome, is having to do each time with different people, with different backgrounds, professions, styles and visions. Each time, it’s like diving into someone’s story, that they trust you with it, to bring it into the visional world. Wow. That turned out kinda poetic.
Anyhow, this was one of those projects that we got to play within “my” style territory. And in the process i discovered just how liberating space is in the design. You don’t have to fill all the gaps to make something look good. Space itself and the way you use it is a statement and art.
was one of the rebrands i started early this year, and like with all of them it became instantly one of my favourites.
We literally got the chance to jump in the concept right away, as the moodboard and vision was right there from the very beginning. Space, new thing, modern, clean, a bit of bauhaus (which i so adore!), marbles, coppers natural tones and blacks.
There were quite some good layouts that came along the way. The more a logo has to say, the more interesting it is for me on how i’ll layout it out. Jessica
has a love for circles and squares so we aimed to show them subconsciously and literally.
And boy, that play of letters was tons of fun! It really got me into thinking of rebranding my logo in the same style. There’s just something about it right? We also had a play with some graphic marbleising (which isn’t as easy as seems to create people) but finalising we went with a cleaner, real marble feel.
