Sharing the design process is always one of my favourite posts to prepare. This one especially even more, since i got to work with an extremely amazing, kind, sweet and talented person. You know how sometimes you get to meet and make great friends through work, this is one of them.
Erin, happened to be one of the most consistent people i’ve ever worked with. She knew exactly what she wanted, and while reading her questionnaire, i knew exactly what she wanted as well.
Her vision, was if people in the future tried to make something they would think is vintage. I mean, come right? Creating stories with graphics, it’s every graphic designer’s dream. From the very beginning of the process we got some nice results with gems, splatter, clean lines, and a little bit of vintage in there.
Plus i got to experiment on some weird calligraphy which felt really good. More expression, more feeling. You might see that i’ve inherited already some of that.
And finally, we worked on her design style guide, which was a first for me. There’s so many projects i want to share with you, that are still unpublished. I even upgraded my cargo collective to premium and haven’t got the chance to update my portfolio. When i do, it’s going to be GOOD.
