Oh hi! How’s everybody doing? Hope you had a wonderful weekend, and that the weather has treated you nice just like it has for us here. Yes, more and more flowers as Spring is officially here, and they just inspire me so much!
I kinda missed Friday’s post, it has been just so stressful! After a lot of replies, i started creating a hand free font for you, and although i thought it would be a piece of cake, i was just so wrong. I’ll just say one thing, there is a GOOD reason that those ones are expensive. And a very good one. Hopefully i’ll have it ready for you within the week.

Thought i should try and practise my drawing skills, and experiment with some tropical colours (and flowers? who knows what those turned out to be). Of course turned out to be working late again, but i must admit, creating something new, is always fun fun fun! Now from flowers, and romance, off to watch Walking Dead. Hope you have a great new week friends!

And it’s pretty much the whole catalogue.. Ooops. I just can’t get over, how clean, simple and fresh everything is. It’s like clothing that make your that heals your soul! Went too far? I know πŸ™‚
The lookbook is now pretty much all over Pinterest. An obsession to all, and a fair one i say. Those pictures are just too much perfect. Perfect lighting, positioning, everything perfect. Ok i’ll stop. One last thing, got my order from Zara yesterday.. it was perfect πŸ™‚

Oh and did you know that i was guest posting yesterday on Milk & Crown‘s blog? I’m sharing a video i made just for you, showing the settings i use when doing digital handwriting.

Oh, i haven’t updated the portfolio section here, nor my actually portfolio. Lot’s of new projects come in and out and still no time to share! Oh, i haven’t updated the portfolio section here, nor my actually portfolio. Lot’s of new projects come in and out and still no time to share! So i had to pick one to share with you guys today, and that had to be Stephanie’s lovely, natural simple logo we worked together on, a while ago.
From the moment we talked, and she gave me a first idea about her and a profile of her work, i instantly thought emerald. Sometimes colours are the first thing i see.
The concept was to create something simple, organic and natural. Warm, friendly, vintage but with a modern twist.
It was definitely a delight to be working with her. She is so sweet and talented, and knew what she wanted right away, so it made just a lovely experience. Lately, i’ve noticed i tend to a more bohemian, nature like, organic, vintage style. Which honestly is kinda a surprise for me, since i’m all into this minimal, scandinavian almost like style. But i can do black and boho at the same time πŸ˜‰

Happy Monday my friends! Hope it’s a sunny and warm. If not, hope it’s lovely nevertheless. It’s already been 2 to 3 years since i started this blog, and like everyone say, i’ll say i would never have thought how much this little place of mine would have grown and that one day i would… Read more »

Happy Monday my friends! Hope it’s a sunny and warm. If not, hope it’s lovely nevertheless. It’s already been 2 to 3 years since i started this blog, and like everyone say, i’ll say i would never have thought how much this little place of mine would have grown and that one day i would have even lovely you wondering about how i live and how i work.
This must have been the most challenging post / thing i ever had to do for this blog. Not only it is difficult to explain things like why i left Athens and how i started designing in a different language, i was just so embarrassed to even show my face. Not to mention people passing by and staring.
I won’t hide that it was fun though! After a couple of minutes i felt very relaxed, sharing my thoughts to a friend. Just so you know, there is no way on earth i would do this if wasn’t feeling comfortable and close to you guys. I have to apologise for my stupid camera. The focus was set on auto, and as i kept moving my hands, the focus goes in and out, but stops at some point. Bare with me πŸ™‚

UPDATE – Missed question
Favourite fonts + were you find them? How did your career start?
Ok, favorite fonts. They usually change from month to month, so the ones i’m really loving right now are Brandon Grotesque, AG-Goudies and Tinos. For font hunting i go to dafont.com and MyFont. As for my career, the answer is in the video!

One of the best things that comes with Spring, is that we finally get to go out more. There are just so many undiscovered (for us) places around the island. Once i think i’ve seen it all, there is something new that comes up, and can’t wait to witness the beauty.
I literally live for moments like these. With good friends, beautiful scenery, food and our dogs. Last week, we got to explore two lakes in Karavomilos. As you will see in the video below, they were breathtaking. What i like most about lakes, is all the vegetation and moss growing around. There’s so much green!

On top of everything, you get to relax more. Just like Julia mentioned, when the sun is warmer and the day brighter, a noon walk, to breath and clear your mind is the best thing to make you happy. To watch the sun, and hear the silence.

Can’t wait to see what’s new for us this week. Here’s to great and beautiful adventures my friends! And happy first day of Spring πŸ™‚

The rebranding process of this blog and of my brand, has brought me to design quite a few things that i’ve hadn’t had the chance before. 3 years after my very first logo, i come to discover the power and importance of having a personal media kit. And may i say, i just love those now!
I’m going to be honest with you, and admit that until very recently i didn’t quite know what a media kit is, and what it includes. Don’t know if i’m the only one out there, but let me break it down for you.
What does a media or press kit includes?
A media kit, could include whatever you may need to promote yourself, or put in together as a brand for you. There is no definition or a list of what you should have. Depends on who you are and what you do. Wether you want to promote your blog, or yourself. Could include videos, postcards, images, brochures, etc. Media kits, are a really nice way to let your clients & future clients to know a little about you, your work and immediately get in touch with your branding from the very first sight.
I completely fell in love with the idea to be able to send to my clients and thank you postcard, designed by me in the colours of my brand and logo. Also, i am re-writing my terms & conditions which i left as they were from 3 years ago, and making a pricing leaflet. You may be looking at a sneak peak of my rebranding process πŸ™‚

1. Be creative, consistent but also leave space for things to breath.
2. Stay true to your brand. There’s nothing better than to see a beautiful brand expand.
3. Include beautiful, clear pictures. The best you have.
4. Testimonials, are always a good idea.
5. Be friendly. A lot of people prefer to be formal, but i feel that friendly, light and approachable is always the way to go.

Also, i had the huge honour to be guest at lovely Jacquelyn’s column Bits & Pieces, sharing random facts, recipes and other stuff. Feel free to step by!

Yes! It is finally the time to wear crop tops and tshirts. Yes! It is finally the time to wear crop tops and tshirts. Although i don’t know how much it will last, i’m definitely enjoying every moment of it.
So the past couple of months, i’ve been getting more than a few emails asking me for advice, what i studied, about my life, what inspires me, my favourite fonts etc. And although i’ve doing my best to get each and every one of them, there’s still always not too much time. I figured out, it would be so much easier to just simply make a quick video answering all of them.
This box below, will be open till Sunday, and you can ask me anything you want. No names will be mentioned in the video, just the questions and answers. So go ahead, and ask away!
