It’s that time of year for holiday parties, gatherings in the home and staying cozy inside by the fire place with family & friends. Unfortunately, I’ve never been one of those who finds themselves at home in the kitchen with tons to contribute. However, as a newlywed, I’ve been experimenting much more now that I have a kitchen that’s all my own! I have found the perfect little treat for those of you who aren’t “The queens of the kitchen” that is so easy to whip up, you’ll dazzle any guest you have with this warm holiday beverage.

Ingredients: (for 1 serving)


1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk
1 vanilla chai tea bag
3 pinches of hershey cocoa powder (extra dark)
.73 oz packet of Swiss Miss hot chocolate mix.
Reddi Wip – extra creamy whip cream.
Ground cinnamon
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup milk

3 pinches of hershey cocoa powder (extra dark)
.73 oz packet of Swiss Miss hot chocolate mix.

Ground cinnamon

Directions:


1) Stir water & milk in microwave safe mug & heat for 2 minutes.
2) Add vanilla chai tea bag & let it steep for 2 minutes.
3) Remove the tea bag & stir in 1 packet of swiss miss hot chocolate mix.
4) Add 3 pinches of Hershey cocoa powder & stir well.
5) Add generous amount of whip cream.
6) Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top.
